Larry Mckenzie: Building a Championship Basketball Program
If anyone would know how to build a championship basketball program, it would be Coach Larry McKenzie! Coach McKenzie is the only coach to win four back-to-back state titles in the 100 year history of the Minnesota State Boys Basketball tournament.
Following his championship stint at Patrick Henry High School in Minneapolis, Coach McKenzie was the General Manager and Head Coach of the Minnesota Ripknees of the American Basketball Association (A.B.A.) and recently rebuilt the program at Academy of Holy Angels. This coming fall, Larry McKenzie will once again roam the sidelines in the Minneapolis City Conference as the new head coach at North High School.
